Listen (3 Minutes) Swansea students decided to look at the issue of junk food. For this story, they interviewed their teachers and worked on the script together.
LISTEN (3 Minutes) Here is a holiday story from Swansea Elementary students nd it’s about having gratitude. In addition, there is a focus on the pilgrim corn and bean salad and manners, which are part of the holiday time period nutrition classes.
LISTEN (6 Minutes) As part of learning about radio journalism, students and Swansea go to the very beginning of radio and learn how to say their names with the “dits” and “dahs” of Morse Code.
This slide show was presented at a Swansea Parent Breakfast, where parents and their children learned more about how to make healthy food. Miss Anne of Denver Superfoods dressed up as a pea pod as part of the morning fun.
